Chapter 2, Part 1

Kicking off Chapter 2 of The Crosswind Cafe: The Orange Cup! It's about racing, and stew, and it circles back to the cafe - I swear.

I'm not sure I actually love driving, but I've accidentally done a lot of it! I drove across America twice tour-managing a band in my younger days; and more recently from Ontario to Mexico and back with a dog and 2 cats in the back seat.

These days I drive an economy sports car quite sedately, (my husband's car choice). I'll always watch crazy rally footage when it pops up in my feed, and lately I've been loosely following the potential resurgence of the Williams F1 team. All that to say that cars seem to have accidentally taken up a decent amount of brain-space over the years. It got churned up and spat out in The Orange Cup, which features a fictional race series which blends traditional racing with a sort of madcap capture-the-flag format. I hope you enjoy!
